@workingclasshistory the video linked in the article and the source referenced refer to December 14 2009, when Berlusconi was hit by a small statue of Milan's Duomo at a party rally in Milan.
This is a different event from the December 31 2004 one, in which he was hit with a camera tripod while in Rome for New Years Eve celebrations.
As far as I am aware, there haven't been any cases in which Berlusconi was punched in the face directly.
