Your annual reminder:

Most people get rid
of their Christmas trees
by January I because
that is typically when the
lice eggs in the branches
begin to hatch.

@lowqualityfacts Wait. What? I need footnotes.

I assumed it was some kind of joke I didn't get. But I'm thinking maybe it's for real??

Seriously, do trees have lice eggs these days? How? Lice wouldn't lay eggs in a spruce. Somebody would have to rub their louse infected head in the branches or something. ?? Very weird. Can somebody explain this for me?

@lowqualityfacts fun fact, artificial wreaths can harbor bugs. In unrelated news we have hundreds of mosquitoes in the house now

@lowqualityfacts At my brother’s 60th birthday party a few years ago in April, we fed the very desiccated Xmas tree into the fire pit at about 2 am. The massive flare must have upset the neighbours because the police were called and shut down the exuberance of the party.
