HOW to teach #picaTheCat that she CAN'T sit on my lap until I'm done sitting down???

The lap doesn't exist until the human is sitting??

She tries to get on my lap *as* I'm trying to sit and it's just... it's chaos. And then she's upset and I'm in a bad position because she didn't let me fix my legs and now I can't move... this is a catastrophe.
