We ( @video ) restore, archive, and re-score silent films. One of them, The Pirates of 1920, is a real treat! This seldom seen science fiction flick sees a band of pirates committing various crimes from their airship.
It's thrilling!
There are lots of examples of this kind of story from the 1910s, including the Aerial Submarine, The Airship Destroyer, and my personal favorite Filibus. We have a lot of these early science fiction films available on our website and on our roku app, and they play occasionally on our live stream.
