This mosaic was found on the Via Flaminia in Rome and is now held by the Palazzo Massimo. It dates to the C3rd CE and the central panel is a portrait of a soft-faced Bacchus wearing a wreath of fruits and looking slightly confused. Photo credit: World History Encyclopaedia.
