My in-laws planned to stay at their cabin last night so I went to make sure they had power. Storming pretty good, or at least very windy. Walked through a big drift to our cabin and 15 mins later my tracks had blown in. Video doesn’t really convey it.

I remember reading somewhere where people tied ropes between houses so they wouldn't get lost halfway in a white-out. Is that still a thing?
