@yogthos I had some time in China; speaking to very ordinary people, most were certain their system is better than 'the West' as practiced in the USA. They have a lot of police surveillance, cameras everywhere, but the people I spoke to, see it as a minor issue compared with security of job, housing, health cover, no school shootings, etc.
@IncHulk we have a lot of both police and corporate surveillance in the west, I don't really see a fundamental difference in that regard

How is "this particular website may be a bad website you can't trust" racist? It's literally a statement about a website, not a person... A quick glance at their feed shows nothing visibly racist (and a few things that look supportive instead.) I can't say "this person is absolutely not racist" without knowing more, but I sure can't say "this person is racist" because they said "we shouldn't trust that website."

@yogthos the wildest thing about the authoritarian rise is people in the states can look at china and be like…well they have no freedoms but at-least they have rail service and medicine and a social safety net.
