So, I asked my in-laws not to get me anything for Christmas. I'm lucky to have enough stuff already, and I didn't want to put them to any trouble hunting around for the kind of obscure things I'm into. Not only did they respect my wishes, but I also received an e-card telling me they'd donated to The Bike Project. The charity collects secondhand bikes, refurbishes them and gives them to refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. Result! https://thebikeproject.co.uk #biketooter #cycling #bicycle

An e-card with an image of a woman and child unwrapping a bike. The text reads: "THE BIKE PROJECT. I'm excited to let you know that I've donated a virtual gift to a refugee in your name. Your generosity will contribute to transforming a refugee's winter with a wonderful and empowering gift. With all my love."
