Xmas Day #parkrun was a joy as always. I timed 488 people over the line at Colwick and was also given the heavy responsibility of chalking some inspirational messages on the path (not pictured, 200m from the finish line, « We’re Marley and Marley. Woooooo! »)

A nice chap who volunteers here all the time said to me a few years ago that, if it wasn’t for Xmas parkrun, he wouldn’t speak to a single other person all day. For me, that alone makes it worthwhile.
