My 2cents: I use a great piece of software called Libib, which can scan the ISBN barcode of the CDs, books, etc.. and store the entries in an online db.
It's free, without ads, based on offers.
A great way to organize such things, highly recommended!
@decryption As a teen I maintained a meticulous spreadsheet of all my CDs. It tracked the standard artist/title/year/format info, plus extras like record label, country of origin and when they were bought.
In later years I even had a column to mark which ones I’d taken to school. I changed my CD wallet selection weekly so had to keep things fresh, you know? Then it helped me track what I’d imported to iTunes.
I wish I’d kept a copy. It’s long lost now.😢
@decryption that’s great
@decryption Discogs is a godsend for this.
@decryption ... where do you go for your CDs? (second hand or otherwise)
