In Finder’s column view, a quick way to resize columns to exactly fit the width of the widest file name is to double-click on the two tiny vertical lines at the bottom of the column. But in 26.2, I’m finding that there is a translucent dark scrollbar covering the double line, so if I double-click where I see the lines, it just moves the scrollbar around.

It happens in folders with a lot of items. Anybody else seeing this, and better yet, know how to fix it?

@podfeet
@zkarj Double-clicking on the column edge just moves the list up and down for me.
@podfeet I'm seeing the same thing when the list is longer than the size of the window. If the list is shorter, the little vertical lines show up, as they did before Tahoe. So the workaround, assuming lots of monitor space, is to make the window longer — not always possible.

@podfeet just double-click anywhere on the entire height of the column edge?
