An Indian (or Three-striped) Palm Squirrel (Funambulus palmarum) on an Indian Almond tree (Terminalia catappa) in Tamil Nadu, India. A better marketing/branding agency would have counted both dark and light stripes, making this species better able to compete with the Five-striped Palm Squirrel of North India (F. pennantii).

Photo of a slender greyish-brown squirrel clinging to the rough bark of a small Terminalia sp. tree, with its head pointed downwards, and its front paws holding a peanut up to its open mouth. On its back are visible the narrow pale stripes that give the species its name, interspersed with equally striking broader dark stripes. It has a beady round black eye with a white border, and little sticking-up round ears. (It's nothing like the enormous North American and European squirrels, but more like a chipmunk.)
