@mvexel / @utah - question - how do you make OsmAnd work well with the address format people usually share for a home address in utah?

it seems like the roads are usually reversed? like the search results are usually terrible? #OsmAnd

@risottobias @utah we have established an address mapping convention (it’s on the OSM wiki). Basically you live on a street with the common name “3300 South”. This can be either “West 3300 South” or “East 3300 South” depending on whether you’re west or east of the temple / main street. Your actual house number would come before that, so for example 345 W 3300 S. We would map that as addr:housenumber=345 and addr:street=West 3300 South. The same number can occur east and west.
