Hmm, I think Discord would be way beyond my comfort zone.
I think the trouble with joining a Discord community is that participating makes the app more attractive. You can't be there to promote free software without being a full participant.

There are plenty opportunities. Just now in chat that a repo name was taken on github. Good opportunity to name-drop #codeberg as a better forge that has the name available. A quick 2 cents of promo for the #FOSS cause may leave 🌱 seeds to take root and help shift perspectives.
@smallcircles The Gleam Discord community is great, it would be better if it weren't on Discord, but I understand why, so I just go a little out of my way to join it :)
