Round 120 of 156

The thing I truly love about long projects like this is the ability to just sink into the present moment

I’m making blue stitches, I’m occasionally placing a bead, and I know I will be doing these two things for probably the next month to three months

It becomes what feels like a timeless activity. Click, click, click, bead, click click click

A hand holding two knitting needles with probably dark blue yarn in front of a screen with a knitting chart on it. There’s a seahorse stitch marker hiding on the blue cloth. The entire photo has a yellow cast from nighttime lighting, so it’s hard to see anything’s true color

About 12k stitches to go before I start the border

Today I discovered a star was left out of the night sky, so Desperate Times, Desperate Measures

A piece of blue beaded knitting held in one hand. There are stitches unraveled down ten or more rounds, held by various stitch markers and extra needles. It looks a bit like a spider’s web that’s seen better days

And the stars are back in alignment! Pic one is post-fix, but showing the reknit stitches wonkily sized because of the fix. Pic two shows the stitches looking a bit better after I readjusted tension between loops.

(I’m not sure the difference looks like much to anyone but me, but I like the adjustment)

Blue lace knitting held up against a white background so the loop sizes & evenness are more visible. The stitches above an orange stitch marker are bigger and unevenly sized

Same section of knitting, but now the loop sizes match much better

This may not look different than all my other pictures of the Celestarium shawl, but it is. That’s the beginning of the first round after completing ALL the charts
