I'm setting up a new MacBook, and I need #LibreOffice obviously. It occurred to me that it might be available in the App Store, which would be slightly more convenient than a separate download. It is ... for 拢8.99. What on earth is going on?!

@mike @libreoffice tech novice here, read a little about LibreOffice on here. Is it Microsoft Word compatible? Can you also read Outlook files in it? Sadly need to be able to read those files but don't want to pay for Office as would prefer to use LibreOffice if possible. Thanks.
