I have been playing with #MeshCore a bit. Love the idea of a bottom-up mesh network, which could be done with wifi technology too, but that never worked out (big money?). I got a device with a small antenna, so very much depending on (network) repeaters. I love the energy of the Dutch community (https://www.meshnet.nl/)! Tempted to find some time to set up a repeater myself. Plenty of help on the channels.

@egonw Really like the idea too, but haven't had time to find out about privacy. I'm not too keen on publishing my (repeater's) exact location on a map, helpful though that might be for others. Have you perhaps looked into this?
