I talk constantly, to anyone who will listen, about how much I love Seattle area's weather. It's usually extremely temperate, and the "rain" we get is typically very light and not even worth an umbrella or raincoat.
After the last week, and today's continued wetness, though, I am ready for a break from this. It's by far the warmest and wettest winter season since I moved to the area.
Sitting on the couch and listening to rain sounds on the window while snuggling my kitten will keep me sane for now, I suppose. Feeling very fortunate I haven't been directly affected by any flooding-related nastiness.
