It's fashionable for people to flame the companies that do open source and #linux work under the guise of "they control everything."

Here's how we got millions of dollars of engineering for free by just working with Red Hat via open source projects. In this case, bootc in the CNCF.

The example in this video is a bug #bazzite found in local layering, we shipped a patched version and were able to give the team the feedback they needed to ship the fix faster.
