Since it's sleeping...we'll quietly explain the Blue-banded bee (Amegilla). Found in most states of mainland Australia...are solitary bees that sometimes form aggregations...Females dig a shallow burrows (5–10 cm deep) in soft materials like soil, sandstone banks & even mud bricks, if they're soft enough. #nature #bees #science #wildlife #photo #ecology #insects
