#WritersCoffeeClub Dec 14: How do you tackle a first round of revisions?

I don't tackle them. I talk to them gently, make them a cup of tea, ask them how they're feeling, like really feeling. I listen a lot. I sympathize. I mean, we have a lot in common. Eventually, if I've earned their trust, we go somewhere private, and we make something beautiful together.
