Seven of the mods on the Eurovision subreddit have stepped down - it's a bigger deal than it sounds, apparently.

"Take care, fuck the EBU, and most importantly, Free Palestine"

#BoycottEurovision #GlobaliseTheIntifada #FreePalestine #SolidarityIsBeautiful

CaptainAnaAmari

After 10 years of being a fan, 7 years of being on the subreddit and almost 3 years of being a mod, it appears that it is time to say goodbye.

It sucks that Eurovision has gone from the very best it's been to becoming a complete and utter disgrace in such a short period of time. After all these years, |
finally have the resources and flexibility to actually attend Eurovision for the first time, and yet this is going to be the year where | will let go of it instead. As it stands, | just can't stomach watching this farce of a contest run by a spineless and pathetic organization that would happily sacrifice everything on the bloody
altar of """non-politicism""", all to ensure the participation of a country that every human rights organization worth their salt accuses of committing genocide, even as the integrity of the contest fully buckles and breaks underneath it.

I have truly enjoyed my time as a moderator and | am grateful to have received an invitation to join the team, through which | met people who have become genuine
friends of mine. However, | do not want to put my time, energy and name next to anything related to Eurovision anymore. There will likely still be some national finals | will keep track of, but Eurovision itself is something that has died for me, and therefore my time on this subreddit has too.

Take care, fuck the EBU, and most importantly, free Palestine.
