Cold out there. Generator problems, but I finally got one going. Charging the battery a bit before I try and get some heat into the in-laws cabin so then I can get their battery charged. Then I’ll get back at their new flooring. -33 is hard on everything. #CabinLife #Nunavut

@NunavutBirder Wow, sounds challenging. I hope your in-laws are alright; are they staying in the new cabin? Good luck and stay unfrozen! 🐻‍❄️

@NunavutBirder I've only been in weather as cold as what you're having once, when I lived in Minnesota. I am totally impressed that you are able to get anything accomplished in those conditions.

@NunavutBirder That feels excessively cold to me (for reference, it got to 31C here on Saturday in southern Australia)

@NunavutBirder Alt text (it's ok, you are cold! 😊 ): Closeup of a man wearing a parka with a fur-lined hood, with his moustache now made of frost, with an actual icicle hanging off of it.

-33 sounds hard to stand, but then I also think of your post, weeks ago, where you said you wouldn't see the sun until February.
I imagine then, cold and dark ... brrrr!
