One of the reasons I'm running an extensive home lab is that I use it as my own cloud. With Nextcloud and Immich I get cross-platform compatibility and I'm completely independent from cloud providers

@aral Hello Aral, I was verified a week and two days ago, and every day I publish a post and tag you, but you keep ignoring me (I don't know what I did wrong). Every day you re-share for the same people (I don't know, maybe they are friends of yours from before). I haven't received any donations from the Mastodon app yet. It is true that the Bluesky app blocks our pages, but it is better than Mastodon because people there respond to us and share our posts, unlike here.
@aral Great example on how it actually is a huge risk to use one single platform for your digital life. And a great reminder I need to keep moving my stuff out of their ecosystem.
