My favorite 3d printing projects are the short ones where I just want to quickly solve a simple problem. Have this drawer in my office that tends to move whenever I open a drawer and it’s annoying. So I spent 30 minutes measuring the caster wheel and modeling a simple cup to hold the wheel in place. Sent to the 3d printer and had a working solution about an hour later. The drawer is very sturdy now. #3dPrinting

@mark You are probably going to be a non-trivial factor in my eventual decision to dive into 3-D printing

@mark The best use I ever made of my printer was printing risers for my couch. It sat so low to the ground we were forever losing things under it and as a sectional it would have required buying about ten replacement feet, assuming I found ones threaded correctly.

I didn't even need anything better than tinkercad. Modeled a column the height I wanted, created a cutout in it about the size of the existing feet and printed a bunch. Took about $20 in filament and I can vacuum under my couch.

A gray cylinder with a cutout in the top, this is the model I printed to lift my couch about 8 inches in the air.
