I miss the days of one single CSS file. Maybe that’s a web design challenge for me in 2026: make my website run on one CSS file again. (Ok it’s not React levels of complexity, but what are we doing here with multiple CSS files…)

@ricmac Ah, the glory days when a single CSS file could style the whole site. Now it’s like every component went rogue, doing its own thing, and we’re just here praying nothing breaks 😅

@ricmac
Oddly its faster to have several smaller files since http/2 came into play - they can all load at the same time.

However you can have 1 file! i have 1 css file and when i build with #11ty I minify it and add all the css to the head - even faster!
