It is rare for a headline to contain Disney and Copyright and for Disney to be the good guy.
@arstechnica
Nothing surprising here. Google insists that one can only complain about copyright infringement in generated content for your own content.
So when it generates obviously copyrighted content (be it Micky or the Eiffel tower) you cannot really flag it with Google.
I tried and the menus basically make it impossible.
@arstechnica laaawsuit ! lawsuit ! lawsuit !
@arstechnica it’s time for all the artists that have done projects to be paid for their examples and prototypes Disney turned down without artist compensation. Yet Disney used this art world wide in packaging and advertising. No honor among thieves.
@arstechnica they just signed a deal with OpenAI. Timing not coincidental.
@arstechnica cue Disney getting share of the pie and dropping the case.
@arstechnica nice, let the rooster fight begin! Don't hold back guys! Btw hey Google, it's supposed to be a secret but listen here, Disney told me your mom is a slut. I said it's not true but what else could I do
@arstechnica
I'm with Disney on this one.
@arstechnica Disney signs massive deal with OpenAI, immediately sues openai's main competitor.
