I blame you

This cotton-top tamarin was eating a fresh mango when we noticed it in the trees above us. We were watching it when it suddenly dropped the fruit. It then focused on us and seemed angry, as if we were to blame for its lost delicious mango. Animals are also very good at the blame game!

This tamarin species is endangered and survives only in a small area of Colombia, as most of its ecosystem has been destroyed. We saw it in Tayrona National Park.

A brown and white monkey with a black head sitting on a branch in a forest scene with its long, brown and black tail dangling below. It has white, bushy head hair that looks like it wanted to try the newest fashion of putting as much cotton on its head as possible.
