@stefan It's hard to underscore how monumental The Demo was in 1968. I was lucky to be there for the 40th and work on a web site for the 50th, but mostly to meet Doug in 2006.

Doug Engelbart now (Dec 2006) and broadcasting the famous Mother of All Demos (1968). I was fortunate to be at the NMC Board meeting where Doug was our guest - I mashed up this image and have used it in almost every technology presentation I have done.
