@jbz Irrelevant I know but is this video narrated by SAM (the Software Automatic Mouth) from the 1980s?
@nickzoic most likely they used AI voice cloning to mimick that style. AI voice cloning is way too good, eventually none of us will learn how to even modulate and just use "voicepacks" to socialize irl.
@jbz yeah could be, I guess it'd be easier to train voice cloning on lots of SAM samples than to remember SAM's syllable emphasis markup 😄 It's a pretty solid choice for voice synthesis in the year 198X.
