@Obscure_Rebel you reach a very different conclusion from that article than I did. Sure, Britain did a lot of harm with its actions during the Mandate. You, I, and the article agree on that, I think. But the article seems to suggest that the trap was set for the Jewish people not the Palestinian people. In fact it denies the existence of Palestinians. Did I miss something?

You’re quite right of course!

The reason I quoted the article was to illustrate that the imperialist machinations by Britain, France & others, over Palestine have been ongoing for much longer than most realise!
