@jbz if those numbers are correct, that's more than 8x the user base, just to put the growth into perspective
6 years ago Linux returned "the Tech fun" to me. I lost it in the 2010s due to Windows, MacOs and Android becoming stale.
I watched one Linux video and it gave me the urge to try it out, I double booted Ubuntu and today I'm ricing my Niri/Fedora setup and caring about my homelab.
But: Without Proton and Valve I seriously wouldn't have installed Linux. So kudos to Gabe and his tribe. ;)
