Possibly to sound a bit wanky, but I honestly don't remember a time I didn't consider the world... modifiable.
Surely that's the state all humans are born into. Saldy I suspect a lot of people have it trained out of them from a young age. Boxed in, given boundaries. I was just lucky enough to be in a family context with fewer boundaries than the average I suppose.
