There is a thing called Hook and Ring Toss, also known as Tiki Toss or Bimini Ring Toss.

I know this because once when my son was 11 or 12 or so, we were walking down a beach on our summer hols and he said "Dad, play this!" and he showed me a ring on a string attached to a post and pointed at the hook.

I took aim, nailed it, first try.

I have never played this game with him since, and every time he asks me to I take great joy in reminding him I have a 100% success record.
