I’ve always wanted to make a #FreedomRespecting (a.k.a. #FreeSoftware / #OpenSource / #FOSS) game or few.
(That’s actually how I got into programming and art. Common story, right?)
But most #libre #games are pretty derivative - libre ports of popular restricted games.
(That’s not always a bad thing…I love SuperTuxKart, for one 🙂 And maybe it’s not always about a unique idea, but also great execution…)

Don’t limit your imagination to something aimed at a solo dev + shoestring budget. Focus on what is unique and fun! 😀
And even if is an old or derivative idea…share it all the same. I’m curious about what the community wants.
