While I don't normally use Kagi's "Privacy Pass" extension to search without being logged into #Kagi.

I've found it perfectly solves a problem I have with private browser tabs.

As a dev, I often open a private tab to test a website. I might randomly decide to search something real quick. However, because I'm not logged into Kagi, I just see the Kagi sign-up screen.

In #Firefox, if I allow "Privacy Pass" to run in Private Windows, my searches from the URL bar now magically work.

Screenshot of private or "incognito" Firefox window. It shows a search for the term "Mastodon" in Kagi. Normally in a private window, I would see the Kagi sign-up screen because I'm not logged in. But, at the top right of the window you can see the Kagi Privacy Pass extension running. With this, you can see that Kagi Search doesn't show my account avatar, but the it still allows me to run a search.
