#Kagi I hope that someday they will make a translation app that surpasses DeepL, but that is not only available on the Play Store!

👀 Is there a usable and private #SearchEngine which has some kind of filter or at least some feature to tackle #AI crap content flooding the net? Can be a paid service.

I am SO SICK of all search results with at least the half of the sites being #SEO caused AI shit sites only existing to generate income by featuring ads. 😮‍💨

I know about #MetaGer and #Kagi but both don't really seem to fit the bill... 🤔

So okay, I had to use DuckDuckGo bc I forgot to pay for Kagi and OMG tbh I'm so spoiled w Kagi.

DuckDuckGo is just... not on its level.

Two things are missing:
1) I use @elementary but that's not an available option; I'll open a PR for it soon
2) my phone (Mudita Kompakt) uses a custom OS made specifically for the device

Results vary by query, but it's more effective when you have widgets.

Kagi is the website that I use the most, so it makes a huge difference in my day to day how many results I can see.

I might be mandela effecting this, but I thought there used to be a "cozy" option.

While I don't normally use Kagi's "Privacy Pass" extension to search without being logged into #Kagi.

I've found it perfectly solves a problem I have with private browser tabs.

As a dev, I often open a private tab to test a website. I might randomly decide to search something real quick. However, because I'm not logged into Kagi, I just see the Kagi sign-up screen.

In #Firefox, if I allow "Privacy Pass" to run in Private Windows, my searches from the URL bar now magically work.

When the product is so good, your forget the years of conditioning of using the word Google instead of search.

Pushed a few small fixes I noticed after release

Ultrawide screen support - Removed max-width constraints on result containers to properly fill ultrawide displays
Video thumbnail aspect ratios - Preserved 16:9 aspect ratio for video thumbnails while excluding YouTube and channel logos
Search bar centering - Added flexbox centering to search form wrapper for proper alignment on home page
