Sometimes it's worth being that annoying person: I just survived a four-hour (!) long online professional development course on giving feedback and at the beginning of the training I made my participation conditional on the default #Zoom option to have the meeting "transcribed by AI" to be deactivated. Once I'd explained to the trainer how to do this, they happily obliged. They had apparently never thought about what this process entails. Next time, I might dare to comment on the unnecessary and honestly totally distracting #GenAI images on the slides, too...
