I think his diagnosis is mostly correct but his prescription and proposed execution needs work. Rory & Alistair's probes were reasonable and he sounded much more on the back foot & like a "regular politician" when he was fielding them.
There is a community of non-mainstream but "serious" economists and policy experts who could really help without diluting the prescription. I hope he is getting them on board.
