@EJGilbert @McCullohMD I’m pretty sure that’s a built in Mastadon function that admins and mods of instances have no control over unfortunately
@EJGilbert - @emily_rj is correct. There has been a lot of discussion about this in the Mastodon developer groups over the years. People have individually modified the source code to do this, but it is unsupported and requires modifying the code every time an update happens. Unfortunately, deviating from the code like this creates a lot of maintenance difficulty and would potentially make us incompatible.

Some disabled-lead mastos use the Mastodon fork Glitch such as dragonscave server, caneandable use the regular mastodon, tweesecake server, uses Glitch-soc, a free open source software forked from Mastodon.
