The hand-pollinated yellow pitahaya fruits are developing nicely. (The rainbows were a coincidence.)

Yellow pitahaya (dragon fruit) flower cactus sprawls its branches in three directions from atop an irregular wooden post that leans into the right side of the photo. A flower bud is visible at the tip of one branch of the cactus. Each branch has one developing fruit, and the fruit on the largest branch (in the foregrond in the upper left of the image) is turning yellow. At least two trees of Rollinia mucosa and one magenta-leafed ornamental plant are visible just behind the cactus, and various other fruit trees and other vegetation rise in the background of the image. The entire landscape is illuminated by the yellowish late-afternoon sunshine, and there is a double rainbow in the sky above.
