It's unrealistic because the sensible thing to do is backpedal away from the lever as quickly as possible so that legal liability lies with either the Trolley operator or the sicko tying people to the track.
@Daojoan and that you won’t be prosecuted for whatever you choose. Pulling the lever is premeditation, you knew the result was the death of the person on the line. If you save the many, you forfeit yourself.

@Daojoan I would pull the lever, then doubt myself and flip it back, and then pull it again, and flip it back, increasingly frustrated, so the final outcome would be practically random anyways
