A new study by the Equality Trust concludes:

'Britain’s democratic architecture has become more susceptible to unelected influence, now hardening into systemic dominance, while countervailing forces such as trade unions, local journalism & civic organisations have weakened'

Wealth inequality is not just about the wealth itself but about the mechanisms the wealthy can use to maintain their privilege position, undermining democracy!
