Anyone experience with calibre-web¹?

tempted to try it out because managing a calibre database with normal calibre and multiple devices accessing the database on a NAS is afaik a mess.

i am also happy about pointers to any foss³ with a similar set of functions in regards to curating a ebook database with >2000 books.
i do not really care about the reader and editor² capabilities of calibre.

reading a bit further, there are two forks with more functionality, calibre-web-automated and autocaliweb.
some of that seems very nice, other things feel far over the top for what i want to be able to do.
