The good news: the trailer was still there
The bad news: I don't have a trailer hitch and of the three bikes I own, I was riding the one that is far and away the worst to have to trailer something with.
It was no 42" pair of bolt cutters, but it was an interesting trip home. I kept thinking the bike had something wrong with it because I'd have weird bits of drag and strange noises and stuff, but I think it was mostly due to the fact that I had the trailer tethered at an absurd 45° angle and it would catch the wind, and the the normal spring in the hitch tongue wasn't meant for taking the force from tethering the hitch tongue to the top of the rack on my bike (it's a standard "connect at the rear axle" hitch tongue).
Not sure if this counts for #CarryShitOlympics since it was technically on its own wheels?
