Anyone interested in buying a bike cargo trailer?
Steel frame, with a mix of plywood and coreflute walls.
Main cargo area is approx. 1500x700x700mm, plus 4 corner cabinets (one holds the 12v electrics with various plugs on a panel, needs new batteries), plus 2 side shelves (with LED lights above). Locks on all doors (same key, I have multiple). Solar panel on roof (200w iirc), and the back of the roof doubles as a strong workbench area with bolts for attaching a vice to (vice included). It needs new wheels (26" or 24" will fit nicely). Has extendible feet in each corner to hold it steady and level when not on the move.

Cost over $1000 to build, but I'm not looking to profit or even break-even on it; so open to offers from anyone who can collect it from Brisbane (northside).

Allure prévue "chill" mais l'effet groupe provoque toujours un petit effet d'entraînement (promis c'était pas moi, j'étais derrière 😅) donc une belle allure au final sur l'aller.

Un spot mûres de qualité comme promis 👌🤭.

Le final pavé et en montée dans la forêt pique un peu 🥵

On arrive affamés et presque (🙄😅🙈) à l'heure pour le pique-nique proposé par @pasqualeberesti où @heuristiques_en_mouvement et lui nous attendent.

Sur place, partage des vivres, discussions vélo et autres, et initiation #geocaching évidemment 😇😎

On repart avec la poubelle, c'est @rodolphe qui se charge d'un #carryshitolympics digne de ce nom 😅

Le groupe se scinde en deux : retour en train pour les uns, à vélo pour les autres.
(Je vous laisse deviner pourquoi je suis attablée à la terrasse d'un macdo à moins de 3km de chez moi, au bout de ma vie, en train de faire ce compte-rendu 😂).

L'objectif de la matinée, c'était de traverser Strasbourg, arriver chez @machine_chouette, récupérer les trois derniers morceaux de la palette/caisse en bois dont elle se débarrassait, et ramener tout ça chez moi.
À #vélo.
Constatations :
1. C'est faisable.
2. Quasi tous les piétons se retournaient sur mon chemin en mode dafuq
3. Quasi tous les cyclistes détournaient le regard en mode "je veux pas être associé avec ce type".
4. Il parait qu'il y a des photos qui circulent.

Mon #carryshitolympics d'hier !

Récupération du matos pour les sites de 2 sports que je co-organise (la boxe et le cyclisme) pour les #EuroGames Lyon 2025 !

Pas mal, non ? 😅
Bon, j'allais pas super vite, mais ça s'est bien passé.

On me voit en train de pousser un vélo cargo à plateforme avant avec plein de cartons dessus, qui tire une remorque avec plein de cartons aussi. Après l'avoir poussé sur la route, on voit que je galère un peu à avoir un vitesse initiale suffisante pour démarrer, mais une fois que je suis partie, c'est bon !

@wambuimnd You'll probably get a lot of people chiming in with this suggestion, but follow hashtags along with people. There are some really fun ones out there and it can help fill your feed with neat stuff before you follow a lot of people. I follow #BikeTooter (riding a bike, both for serious cyclists and those of us who consider a bike a form of transportation rather than just a hobby) & #CarryShitOlympics (for people who move stuff by bike that others would use a car for).

If you like nature photos there are a bunch such as #Mosstodon#LichenSubscribe and #ThickTrunkThursday.

There are also more than a few communal activities on here (some are synchronous, some asynchronous) which is a great way to meet people: #Monsterdon (sunday night "monster" B-movie watch party) #QueerRomanceClub (queer book club, reads one book a month), #BikeNite (people ask bike questions everything from the basics to super technical stuff and are very friendly to encouraging new riders), (there is also a video game club that does a game a month, but I can't recall the hashtag)
