Salt Lake Tribune (the only major Utah #news org not owned by the Mormon church) unanimously approved their first union contract this week.
You may wonder why you didn’t see a bunch of news about union-busting and illegal firings and leadership throwing public tantrums about every single provision.
Uh, well, as far as I can tell, there wasn’t any of that.
They voluntarily recognized the union within a week of it being formed, then bargained in good faith.
