So now I'm going to carve off of that center shape/draw new bits onto that center shape until I think it looks sufficiently like what happens in the story and then I'll call it done.
Alright, this is officially draft one.
I'm going to see if I can find someone local to print a copy off so I can sit with it in person and figure out how I feel about it, but as of right now I'm feeling pretty good.
Office Depot Max is up the street. According to their website, they currently do not offer any print services.
So I'm going to whack this PDF onto a flash drive and drive over there and find out if that's true.
There's a staples the next town up which says they'll do tabloid sized booklet prints, but I bet they want $20 or more *and* want to ship it to me in two weeks.
FedEx office had exactly what I needed, and also the best rotary paper trimmer I've ever used.
They wanted $9 which is ridiculous. It's more than I charge for the finished ones we ship.
But their only tabloid paper is nicer than mine, and they over charge for color printing and have an auto folder and an auto stapler.
I could probably massage the price down to $4 or so if I was more well versed in the options that they offer, and was willing to sit and play the system for a few minutes, but for a quick proof copy while I'm away from my office, it'll do just fine.
@ajroach42 Do you have a FedEx Office nearby? That’s who I use in my small town & their prices are pretty good.
@superflippy I'm not sure. I'm a few towns away from where I normally spend my time.
I'll find out.
@ajroach42 Wow, that's awesome! Shoot, I never finished my order for the first one. BRB 😅
