Is there a way to make #AirPods not pause when you take one of them out? … say you’re singing along and need to better hear your voice 😅

@konstantin Wouldn't transparency mode be ideal for that? You can leave both buds in then!
@jncn that's my work-around as well, but it's not the same ... transparency mode still makes outside world sound strange/filtered and the "traditional" way is that music still blasts full volume in one ear 😁 but all is well, I guess... just wanted to ask in case there is a "long press here for even more options" kind of toggle (you know AIrPods like to hide their UI controls in strange places :D)
@konstantin that's why for longer been using potato-like dumb earbuds, possibly from philips or so... rn I use normal headphones (these earbuds were just stolen, will need to go to shop again).
@hacknorris Yesss!!! I also mostly use wired headphones. AirPods are more like "conference call" equipment than music related. When I posted this last night I was in a Evanescence/Nightwish with Tarja kind of playlists and didn't want to scare my cats with my probably deadly voice over =)) ... but yeah.
@konstantin I meant - wireless earbuds, just not from apple....
@hacknorris ohh I see! When I read "earbuds" I was thinking EarPods 😂🙈 sorry
@konstantin Settings > Bluetooth > AirPods > Automatic Ear Detection could work.
@combatwombat I like that feature, it's just that sometimes I like to just free my ear for something else, but keep whatever is playing going. The auto-base is nice sometimes and very abrupt other times.
