A macro photograph of minty green lichen shaped like trumpets. It's Cladonia fimbriata, or Pixie Cup Lichen. There are a few in crisp focus in the foreground - stalks extending upwards that open into cupped tops, white but speckled with what looks like fine green sand. There are others out of focus in front and behind.
